Unwanted Printer Software

I have some unwanted printer software on my MacBook Pro that I would like to delete from my system (as long as it won't cause any issues!) I have opened my Launch Pad and tried to drag and drop the icons into the Trash with no luck. Is there another way of safely deleting them? I doubt I'll ever use the printer again so I really just want to get rid of the printer software as it is slowing Windows down and is not needed any more.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.14

Go System Preferences >> Printers & Scanners >> Right click on printer wanting to remove >> Pop-up appears and choose Reset Printing System. The remove the printer from the sidebar.
