If I edit a photo does that photo also change in an existing Memory?

FIrst please know that - - I completely understand how I can edit an Apple Photos Memory (Memories). Both image and videos within, etc.

My question lies outside of that process.

I'm trying to find out if I edit an existing photo - any random photo in my Apple Photos library - does that photo likewise change inside an existing memory (that might already include the photo)?

Or......is the existing Memory 'set in stone' and will continue to show the original version of the photo at the time the Memory was created?

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi - Yes, it will change in existing memories (and any albums or projects)

If you don't want this to happen, duplicate it first and edit the duplicate.
