MacBook Pro OS High Sierra - Image Capture v7.0

I've used Image Capture on this computer for years. Suddenly it would stop scans half-way through the first page. I tried it on a different printer/scanner, and got the same result.

I cannot seem to find where to update Image Capture on the App Store or anywhere.

Help.

Thanks

Image Capture only gets updated when you upgrade to a newer OS.

So you are stuck with the version you have in High Sierra.

Have you tried restarting your mac in Safe Mode,

Safe Mode takes along time to start up as it is running disk repairs and

clearing caches, it may help with your problem.

How to use safe mode on your Mac – Apple Support Run a couple of tasks in Safe Mode and then restart normally.
