iPad Air Bluetooth issue

I have a brand new iPad Air (4th generation) that will not connect to my Sony Bluetooth earphones. Both earphones and iPad connect to other devices. Help please

Check with the user guide for the Sony headphones and make sure you are getting them into discovery/pairing mode. Also check to see how many devices you can have paired to the headphones. It may be they cannot be paired to too many devices and you will need to reset them to clear that list to be able to pair to the iPad.
