How do I disable software monitoring preferences in Logic Pro x?

How do i disable software monitoring preferences in Logic Pro X? I have an apollo twin x thunderbolt interface and I’m not able to hear any audio. I looked it up and it said go to preferences > audio> general then turn off software monitoring but when i went to general, software monitoring wasn’t an option.

CLick the Audio tab (not the General tab) on top, and on that page it also has a General tab below
