If your TV doesn’t natively support AirPlay2, you have two alternatives:

1) Purchase an AppleTV box - and connect this to your TV via HDMI. There are various models of AppleTV box from which to choose, standard HD and 4K:

2) Assuming that your iPad has a Lightning port, use a Lightning to Digital AV Adapter and an HDMI cable to make a direct connection to your TV.
