Message from Apple support

I got a message asking to call mac support immediately due to a security breach or Trojan malware upon logging into my MacBook. Anyone else experience this? Is it legitimate? When I called, a person directed me to download a session from **** and initialize a session but I got nervous and ended the call. Someone took control of my laptop and then tried to access anydesk and the whole thing seemed strange. Is this legitimate?
