Touch ID does not work after updated software

I updated to macOS Big Sur 11.1 and now the Touch ID will not work.. it will not allow another fingerprint to be added... it does not have Touch ID to enter unlock computer and all passwords are not requesting this private step .. please help

You do not say what exact Mac this is...?

If you do not have a Mac that supports TouchID you are not magically going to get it.

If you are saying your TouchID stopped working than Try resetting the SMC https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295

(does not apply to M1 Macs w/SoC)
