Exercise ring

My exercise ring does not count the walks I take. I have a low heart rate and just did a 45 minute walk on the treadmill. I did an incline up to 8 but mostly 0-3. HR average was 115. I got only 7 minutes of credit. I did an ifit workout for 25 minutes then added 20 minutes of walking where I kept my heart rate between 110-133 most of the time. But I only got 7 exercise minutes Does anyone know if a setting that may be wrong ?
