I can never receive verification codes on my iPhone11 and I wonder why is thatI receive other SMS text messages not just iMessages.This issue can be very difficult when registering or making purchases and downloads. Answers please anyone;(

If you aren't receiving verification codes on your phone, is it a trusted number? To receive verification codes, see this:
Get a verification code and sign in with two-factor authentication - Apple Support
If you aren't receiving iMessages, and instead are getting SMS messages, see this:
If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime
Note: you can send text messages to yourself for testing purposes.
