update software of iPhone 6

I have an iPhone 6, but I am unable to update it to the latest software, the last version shown is IOS 12.5.1. I do not have any new updates pending. please advise what I can do to upgrade it to IOS 13 or 14. thanks.

samert ~ iPhone 6 is not compatible with iOS 13 or 14:

iOS 13 and iPadOS are compatible with these devices

iOS 14 and iPadOS are compatible with these devices
