I bought a screen mirroring app and it does not work

I bought a screen mirroring app and it does not work. It cost 19.99 or 19.95. I would like to cancel this purchase. When I spoke to a prepresentive a few minutes ago they told me it would cost me 495.00 to cancel this app because I activated it. Made no since to me and I thought I had called a crook. So I’m writing you to see what he is talking about.

Read how to "Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple" click here--> https://support.apple.com/HT204084

To directly proceed to "Report a Problem to request a refund" click here --> https://reportaproblem.apple.com/?s=6

If a reporting a problem request is unsuccessful you can also try clicking here --> https://support.apple.com/choose-country-region/media-services Select your country, then a product.

Apple's terms of purchase for most countries are effectively, "All Transactions are final" (check terms at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/us/terms.html ). Apple may refund on a case by case basis, but realize they can also say no.

Which link? I posted 4 of them. They all work for me. Click on the first one to read details about how to request a refund, or the second one to go directly to the form to request a refund.

Did you actually call Apple? I am guessing not -- and hence the scam aspect --, or there was a misunderstanding. However, normally you do not call Apple for this, you use the online form. After 48 hours they should get back to you by email about their decision.

If you absolutely must speak with somebody instead of using a form which will be much faster then use this reference:

Contact Apple for support and service --> "See a list of Apple phone numbers around the world." - https://support.apple.com/HT201232
