I have paired my MacBook air (via Bluetooth) to my iphone 12, but like ipad, it does not show in the battery widget of my iphone. Would this be an IOS vs. MAC OS issue, or is it just that the MacBook (like the ipad) is not considered an accessory like my Apple watch?
You can't technically pair your iPhone and your Mac in the way that you think. At this time, the battery widget is for connected bluetooth accessories like game controllers and headphones, keyboards, mice... those types of things. You will not find your other iOS devices there either because that data is not synced across devices.

Thanks nny1001...based on some other answers I saw in the "community", I figured it so. Funny, although the Mac and iphone 12 pair together over Bluetooth, its not clear what you could do with that connection.
