UPS for iMac 27" with 16A power cord

Hello,

My iMac 27" has 16A power cord (Indian style) which won't fit into most conventional UPS devices that have only 6A socket. Is it safe to use a power plug converter from 16A to 6A on an UPS for this device? Also, please suggest an UPS with relevant power ratings and VA capacity that works good with this device.

Yes, a 6A plug converter will be fine. The computer uses less than 6 amps.
