When I am trying to use my Apple Id to login to update it will not give me the verification window to type in the 6 digit number

My two-step verification window will not appear on my iMac when I am trying to login with my Apple ID?

Hi there,

If you are using OS X Yosemite or earlier, here is how to sign in:

Say your password is “Test2”, and the 6 digit code is “123 789”.

Go back to the “Password” field after you get the code, and enter “Test2123789” as the password. Submit again. (It is you password, followed by the code.)

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Jack
