You can in fact get 1 Thunderbolt monitor to work. You will

need this adapter:

https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MMEL2AM/A/thunderbolt-3-usb-c-to-thunderbolt-2-adapter?fnode=21220723d0e2506f59fb34f37881bf237d8656e3a8a543f48a643ec287ff8803aaaf6e97dd15ec50fc04c76226dc79f348df6a5ea1dd7b0b14d8f3e9dfc564237be103c85097ce41ee3f0a2fe05ffddfe1d90448349b203ebb48fd844f8161d2b4be45ffdea3d9c3a81b96128a0543b7


I have that and my Thunderbolt Display connected to my M1 MacBook Air

and it works great.


Also, don't even waste your time daisy chaining the second TB display as

it simply will not work.


There are ZERO methods to connect the TB display via HDMI.

The TB display was designed to work with TB only and absolutely

nothing else.
