Series 6 Apple Watch nearly caught fire

Be careful we have had ours for less than 2 months and on Saturday the mrs took the watch off charge and put it on, if she had fastened the strap it would have burnt her, the watch must of been close to catching fire, now it dosnt work.

Iv refused to have it repaired and want an exchange. The watch is unmarked.

I bought 4 at Christmas we all had a new one and only have the problem with this but now we are scared to put them on charge at night.

Apple are not being very good at dealing with this, and just keep setting calls up to talk to them, I’m refusing point blank to have it repaired it’s less than 2 months old it should be replaced.

Apple doesn't usually repair Watches, under warranty, they are replaced with remanufactured Watches of the same model.
