location sharing on MacBook

How can I prevent my MacBook from sharing it's location on Family Sharing? I have my location turned off on my iPhone but I can't find a place for this on my MacBook Pro.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.2

Look in the System/Security & Privacy/Privacy preference pane under Location Services. You can turn off all location services or under the System Preferences/Details window any of the items you see there, including Find My Mac.

I don't know which one would do what you want and let you keep Find My Mac enabled for theft protection. You may want to call Apple Support at the number below and talk to a specialist.
