Audio clips locked together in timeline - cannot move independently

Placed several audio clips in the timeline.

Now, some of these clips are locked together in the timeline with other clips - cannot move independently.

Several lines of audio, sound fx etc. But when I try to move a clip to the right, it brings another unrelated clip with it. How do I unlocked these? Why did they lock together in the first place?

Many thanks!

JASONVIDEO-13 is on the primary storyline. The smaller clip in the middle is connected it. You can see the connection point in the image.

What you want to do determines exactly how you do it and what tools you so. The timeline is magnetic, so if you move a clip the gap it creates will be closed. You can insert a clip between any clips in the timeline and the downstream clips will move out of the way. If you want to move JASONVIDEO-13 and leave the attached clip in place, hold the grave/tilde key while you move it. The gap will close and you can place the JASONVIDEO-13 at any edit point you want. If there's something different you want to do please give specifics.

If you want to select all the clips in the timeline and drag them to right to make a gap a front, select them and use the Position tool ( P ).
