I’d like to purchase a book from Apple Books using my iPhone, but read it on my old Pocketbook eInk reader. Is there a way to transfer the purchased book(s) (in epub format for example) from the iPhone to the reader? I don’t own any other Apple products (my laptop runs on Windows 10).

Unfortunately books purchased in Apple's store can only be read on Apple devices. (I think it says that on every purchase page in the Requirements section).
