Shadows at the top and bottom of the display of MacBook Pro 2017

I have a MacBook Pro 2017 (4 thunderbolt 3 ports) with Touch Bar, and it is showing a shadow both on the top and the bottom of the display. As shown in the photo, you can hardly see the top bar menus nor the bottom of the screen. My computer is no longer covered by the warranty. I have read that Apple set up a free repair plan but only for 2016 models. What can I do with my problem?

You will probably have to send it in for repair, but try running diagnostics first!

Run Diagnostics:

Restart your Mac and immediately hold d until the Apple logo appears twice.

Do not repair by yourself or any unauthorized service provider. Use the link below to schedule a repair.
