iTunes music access
Please tell me that I don't have to pay Apple a subscription fee to access the songs for which I ALREADY paid Apple (thru iTunes) on my new MacBook Air.
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.2

Hi Meximel764,
It sounds like you're trying to download songs from your iTunes library and we can help.
If you purchased songs from the iTunes Store, they can be downloaded through the Music app:
An Apple Music subscription is needed to access the Apple Music catalog, but not songs purchased from the iTunes Store.
Hope that helps.
Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities.
