No. Apple’s own wireless streaming protocol AirPlay is what’s supported for Apple apps and services.

This requires an AirPlay-enabled TV, or an AirPlay-enabled connected streaming device at the receiving end.

And of course the Apple TV box (4th generation or later) supports AirPlay 2.

for devices with the Apple TV app (no need to cast at all).
