Can you sync an iPhone SE with iTunes using High Sierra?

I have just ordered an iPhone SE. My MacBook Pro is from mid 2010, just updated to OS High Sierra, which is the most recent it will take. Am I going to be able to sync my new iPhone on this MBP?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.13

Your setup should work as long as you have the most recent version of iTunes on your Mac. Here are the system requirements from Apple for the new iPhone SE:

System Requirements

  • Apple ID (required for some features)
  • Internet access
  • Syncing to a Mac or PC requires:
    • macOS Catalina 10.15 or later using the Finder
    • macOS El Capitan 10.11.6 through macOS Mojave 10.14.6 using iTunes 12.8 or later
