Missing Browser:Safari

can anyone help me locate my Safari browser that seems to be missing

There are couple ways to find application a user wants to open.

I usually right click the Launchpad icon in the Dock and find the application in the list that pops up.

iOS Find Safari app


Go step by step and test.

Safari is an essential part of iOS and not user deletable.


1. Search and find

    Search all Home screen pages.

    Swipe right to see the screen to see the search box enter Safari to show Safari.

2. Make sure that Safari is not restricted.


    Settings > Screen Time > Content and Privacy Restrictions

    Enter Passcode if you have set it up.

    Allowed apps > Safari

    Turn it on.

3. Reset Home Screen

    Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout
