Restore Deleted Text Messages

I deleted a text message by mistake a seven days ago and a back up ran one day ago. Is it possible to recover my messages or did the new backup override the old backup with messages?

you should see all backups available during restoration process, with dates when backup was created, so you can choose and restore one you need.
