two phones one Apple ID

I need to have two phones one for personal one for work can I use the same Apple ID

Yes, but you won’t be able to keep the information on them separate. So they’d both share the same iCloud account and files, including iCloud email. They’d also see the same messages, notes, contacts, etc. If that is alright, then you don’t need two iPhones, just one and put one number on the SIM and the on there on the eSIM.


If you want to keep data separate between work on personal, then using two physical iPhones and two separate AppleIDs is really the only way to accomplish that.
