How can I recover photos from my lost iPhone

If you had iCloud Photos turned on before the phone was lost, you can log into www.icloud.com and go to the Photos app there. Also see: Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support

If not, if you had a backup to iCloud or to a computer you can use that backup to setup a new device. See: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support

To obtain photos from iCloud Photo or iCloud Backup you need to use the Apple ID that you used for iCloud on the phone that was lost. The phone number doesn't matter.
