how do I bring the music from my iPod Classic into my Music library on my Mac

I recently located my old iPod classic -- it still works fine - I have a lot of music on it that is not in my current music library. I would like to import the music to my Mac mini music library. Sync w finder will let me overwrite the music on the iPod but not move the iPod music to the Mac -- does anyone know how to do that?

Thanks

If you select your Mac in the sidebar under Locations you should see the iPod as an available volume. If not put it in disk mode first then try again.
