Why do live photos lose the effect ehen syncing back to device with finder? I do not want to use icloud for my photos.
Is there a way to sync live photos back to iPhone without using icloud?

You can sync pictures to an iPhone with these steps:
- Connect your device to the computer.
- In the Finder on your Mac, select the device in the Finder sidebar.
- Select Photos in the button bar.
- Select “Sync Photos to your device from” checkbox, then choose Photos, Pictures, or a folder from the pop-up menu.
- Then choose the pictures or folders you'd like to sync to the iPhone.
