Transfer ownership of MacBook Air 2019

How do I transfer ownership of my MacBook Air2019 to my husband. Everything is currently under my Apple ID.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

Follow the instructions here:


https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201065


Be sure to follow all the steps including signing out from iCloud, wiping the whole thing, and then downloading/installing the OS. Hit the power button when it is done downloading and before proceeding with the installation of the OS. That way, the recipient will get the device in factory like condition and can set it up as a new device with his own Apple ID.
