First, you need a 2012 or newer iMac with at least macOS Mojave, or better, upgrade to macOS Catalina: How to get old versions of macOS - Apple Support.

If you have a 2014 or newer iMac, get macOS Big Sur: How to upgrade to macOS Big Sur - Apple Support.

Then, follow this link for Microsoft Word: Microsoft Word - Mac App Store.

If your Mac is older than 2012, you cannot get Microsoft Word.
