Dear
I have a question regarding changing the apple ID

Is it possible to replace the apple ID on an existing device with saving all the current data
and later delete the old apple ID

You can change the Mail Address for your Apple ID, as described in this article:

Change your Apple ID - Apple Support

After that don't forget to follow the steps in this article:

What to do after you change your Apple ID or password - Apple Support

But you can't create a completely new Apple ID and merge those two, different Apple IDs.
