Sync music to iPhone

my iPhone won't connect- show up in Music when connected to my MacBook Air I want to transfer music to it. I have done this in the past with no problems.

iPhone 8, iOS 14

Marjorie,

It doesn't show up in Music the way it used to in iTunes. Instead, it shows up in Finder.
