Certain emails. Particularly suspicious ones will not delete

one suggestion I have seen is to reinstall mail but there is a warning that you loose all sorts of information if you do I don’t want to go down that route. From what I can gather thus problem, has been around for eight Years and Apple have not even acknowledged that it exists. This applies to an iPhone 7 with the latest updates
