ps5 controller/ dualsense not working in many games on Mac

So macos Big Sur 11.3 brought support for the PS5 Dualsense controller. However, less than half the games that support controllers work with the dualsense. This includes steam, epic game's store, and of course Apple Arcade games. Even many recently updated ones.

I notice that many of these games do detect a controller is connected but they receive no inputs from the dualsense.


I am using an M1 MBA base.


Is there a setting/app that can make the dualsense act like a regular old MFI controller?

The software for it needs to be updated to 64 bit if it was written for a device older than 2019.


You may find that Rosetta2 adds support for it if enabled under an M1 machine.
