Hi all - suddenly the camera and app store icons next to the text messaging box are greyed out and the grey arrow which allows you to save a half written message until later has disappeared completely. How do I restore my iphone XS to how it was yesterday when it worked perfectly? thank you

It looks like you're having issues with Messages on your iPhone. If that's correct, let's try the following.
If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Also, try restarting your iPhone to see if that helps.
