What is the problem, Donna? You have been reading "If Photos won't open a library that you already migrated". Do you have an old Aperture or iPhoto Library that you cannot open in Photos for Mac?

If Photos refuses to open a library you already tried to open, change the filename extension back from ".migratedphotolibrary" to ".photolibrary" or from ".migratedaplibrary" to ".aplibrary".

Then quit Photos, if it is running and drag the library onto the Photos icon in the Dock to open it in Photos.
