External Monitor with Macbook Air

I am unable to determine how many monitors my MacBook Air will support. When I to to the Support tab on the Apple menu and click specifications, I get the following error message. I have cleared cookies and tried again. Suggestions?

One external display with 5120-by-2880 resolution at up to 60Hz OR
Up to two external displays with 4096-by-2304 resolution at up to 60Hz
