Recycling old iMac.

Hello! I just called the London Covent Garden store to know if I could just bring my old iMac computer for it to be recycled. I know I won't get any credit but I still want to do the appropriate thing. I was told to do it online as a trade-in and it would eventually take me to service called Brightstar but I've tried to click on pretty much everything and follow all the needed steps and this doesn't happen. Anyone can help here? Thank you!

Brightstar is the Trade-In partner, if the device cannot be traded in, Brightstar is not involved. For direct recycling you just need to take it in to an Apple Store or a recycling collection point near you.

More Ways to Recycle

You can take any Apple device to any UK Apple Store and we’ll recycle it responsibly and free of charge. You can bring devices of other brands on a like-for-like basis and we’ll recycle them too. We also accept any small electronic device and battery without purchase of a new product or battery.

Alternatively, you can recycle waste electronic equipment free of charge at local authority collection points.

Veolia ES WEEE Compliance Scheme (UK) Ltd.

Web: www.veolia.co.uk

You can dispose of packaging materials free of charge at local packaging collection points or in dedicated disposal bins available in some local authorities.

Independent recycling professionals can obtain removal instructions for the battery and other components requiring selective treatment by calling Apple Support.

Those are all the recycling options at this time.
