Disk Utility - How to Remove a Partition Without Harming Another One

So, I have a 2TB external hard drive which I partitioned 1 TB for Mac and 1 TB for Windows. I need to remove the windows partition because I need the space but I want to make sure whatever I have on the Mac side is not deleted. How do I do this? Here is a picture for reference.

You would use the partition button to access the partitioning utility to erase and recover the free space to the first partition.
