Hi i need support because my new apple watch is not pairing with my iPhone

Hi, I need support because my new apple watch (series 6) is not pairing with my iPhone 11 pro max.

iPhone is connected to both wifi and bluetooth, but when I try to pair, it is repeatedly telling "your apple watch could not pair with iPhone and is prompting to start again".

we have tried resetting the network settings on phone and tried restarting the watch and iPhone multiple times.
