Siri not reading the full message

After the last update, Siri stopped reading my complete messages when I’m in the car. It either cuts off before it’s done, or it doesn’t read it at all. The little “timer” goes around so fast. Is anyone else having the same problem.

Then sometimes it doesn’t give the directions when in Maps.

Everything is turned on as far as the app is concerned. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it but its still not working properly. Can someone help me with this?
