What does Migration Assistant erase?

Hello, I wanna import data to a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) from a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015), Because I wanna keep that data also on this 2013 machine but since it has some users that I wanna keep (I wanna import: one user, Applications, and other files) does it deletes the other users?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.2

It does not erase anything from the destination, either.

It creates a new user home for the users you migrate.

You cannot migrate a user with the same short user name as one that already exists on the destination. If it lets you merge or otherwise do so, you will end up with a mess.
