I tried to charge the iPad while using the magic keyboard using the keyboard usb c but i got the message not charging. Os there any reason why? My charging box is an 18w so should have power enoguh to charge the device.

Thank you, but I have read that several times. I know that I need to plug in a usbc cord to the keyboard port, but the point is that the ipad is not charging while so.
