You won't be able to download or use the current iMovie version unless you can upgrade your operating system to Catalina or Big Sur.

Do you currently have any version of iMovie on your computer at present. If so, which ones? Or did you ever have iMovie 10 on your computer but perhaps deleted it? Did you acquire your Mac new or was it acquired from someone else?
