Imessage and messages

Hello,

can someone please tell me is there an easier way of switching to and from imessage and normal text messages without having to go into settings and turn iMessage off every time I want a normal message to send?

because if I want to send a text message and turn my iMessage off , if I forget to turn it back on my iMessages won’t come through.. I have tried holding down the send button to see if there is an option to send as text message or iMessage and there isn’t

You should not have a problem leaving iMessage enabled. When it is available it will send that way, when not a regular SMS will be sent. This may help:
