Can you have 2 Apple ID’s in two different phones?

Can you have 2 Apple ID’s? If I can’t can I if I have other old iPhones? So that way I have one on my new phone and a different one on a old phone.

Yes you can. Just realize the system is set up that an Apple ID is essentially equates to different person. The only way to interface IDs is to set up Family Sharing otherwise you have to buy apps and media content twice. However, for some people it may make things easier such as if you have one strictly for business and the other for your private life.
