Here are three common options:
• Use a USB connected HDD or SSD to transfer the files.
• Use a USB flash drive (a.k.a. thumb drive)
• Use the Mac mini connected directly to the new Mac - Transfer files between two Macs using target disk mode - Apple Support
These are probably listed in order of ease.
How much data / how many files need to be transferred?
