If iPhone is lost, how is it possible to log into iCloud / Find my IPhone using 2 factor identification?

Hi folks, It’s just occurred to me that each time I log into iCloud using a new device, it’s asking me to 2 factor authenticate using my phone which is great.

however, if I was to ever loose my phone, say on a night out, how would I ever be able To log into iCloud / find my iPhone using a friends phone to help try and find my own?

Use the Find My app to locate a lost or stolen device - https://support.apple.com/HT210515#locate

If this is another person's device the person who lost the device "can also use the Find My app on a device owned by someone in [their] Family Sharing group, or sign in to iCloud.com/find to locate [their] device using a browser. [https://support.apple.com/en-euro/guide/icloud/mmfc0f2442/icloud]"
